Our Place "In the Springing of the Year"

Oh, give us pleasure in the flowers today;
And give us not to think so far away
As the uncertain harvest; keep us here
All simply in the springing of the year.
~Robert Frost ( A Prayer for Spring)~

"Your place" looks beautiful. Love the poem too.

Is this all in your yard, Glenda! How lovely! Such a cute litle girl and boy under the umbrella! Is the big red bush azelia? I know I'm spelling that wrong!

Yes, Ginny, this is in my yard - but isolated shots. The whole yard is not lush and blooming, but I'd love it to be! The big bush is actually three azalea bushes, and the color is just beautiful! Unfortunately, it won't last long. We are expecting storms tonight, so it may look different tomorrow. I'll have roses soon and look forward to the first bloom. And I love the little statue, too; it stands about 20 inches tall.

Thanks so much for your comments!

I love your pictures. Your yard is so pretty. I can't wait to see your roses when they bloom. We are expecting the same line of storms after you. I hope they are not as bad as the weatherman predicts. I enjoyed your azaleas the most, mine are not blooming yet. Carla

Just beautiful. The only azaleas we have around here are in pots! Boo-hoo. If I ever again live in a climate where they thrive I'm going to have them everywhere!
