If you've ever felt the Living Water seep into your dry soul and wash over your weary body and mind, you know how refreshing it feels. If you haven't . . . you've missed a free, life-changing gift! A gift that ANYONE can accept!
In shady green pastures so rich and so sweet,
God leads His dear children along.
Where the water's cool flow bathes the weary one's feet,
God leads His dear children along.

Ahhhh, there's nothing like it. My feet are hot right now and I wish I had a refreshing creek right here! What a wonderful picture!
I haven't thought of this song in quite a long time. Enjoyed dropping by & seeing your beautiful photography. Found you over at Dorothy's, Counting my Blessings.
I had great fun playing in a creek when I was a child ...
Nice thoughts. Beautiful.
What a beautiful post. God bless you both this weekend.
Beautiful post, Glenda! Oh, those creeks can be very cold! We wanted to go barefoot by April and the water was always cold!
Beautiful, Glenda... I remember going into my share of COLD creeks when I was young. Brrrrrrr---but in the hot summer, they feel wonderful.
Hope you all are safe from all of the flooding.
Hugs,
Betsy
'Living water seeping into a dry soul', I really like that Glenda...I can almost feel it. Great post, thanks,
Andie
I have been in freezing waters of the Ganges and also the soothing hot thermal springs in the Himalayas... Both are soothing...
Great post, loved the verse.
Have a great weekend:)
I still remember my first walk in creek in the hills of Kentucky my freshmen year of college. It was incredible.
Wonderful message with this analogy, Glenda.
One of life's little pleasures is putting one's feet in cool water. One of life's greatest pleasures is letting the living water wash over one's soul! Thanks for the beautiful post to remind us! Carla
Beautiful reminder to take time today ...
Glenda, this is one of my favorite hymns. I love the photo and it sure is great to wade in a cold creek in the summetime. Have a wonderful week.
It makes me shiver to think of it right now - we are having such cold spring weather. But it is wonderful one a hot day, for sure. I love your song choices so much.
And that is the absolute truth. I love thinking of the Spirit of God as life giving, refreshing, soul-quenching water. What a spot to root in :)
As for the creek water ... well, not quite warm enough for that here. But I love that your picture promises that it will be :)
