And probably even in its deadness the tree is nourishing insects and slowly turning into nourishment for the soil! Love that you captured the beauty of the bird with its song! Blessings!!
Nature is such an amazing tutor! Everywhere are life lessons and evidence of God's majesty, glory & power. I love it when He stops us for a snapshot such as this.
New to your blog Glenda, loved the picture, how it spoke to you. Would like to use the anology for someone I am working with who thinks her marriage is dead, or at least her feelings are dead. She and I skype late last night, she pouring her heart out...me listening, waiting for God to drop words of wisdom into my heart to share with her. I ask her to look for things she liked about her husband this week, write them down because there is so much she does not like to crowd out any good that is there. The dead tree was a perfect place for that sweet little bird to lite. I am trusting God to bring a sweet little bird to her heart to sing even just one praise about her husband. Good post for me to read today. Encouaged my heart. Blessings

Great picture, Glenda. Quite a contrast.
Lovely capture Glenda. Reminds me of "out of the ashes can come such beauty..." Blessings.

There's always a spot for beauty.
So often I've found beauty in "stark-ness". Your "eye" for and photography of this beauty definitely inspires hope AND a song ♫
