Now and then we just need somebody else to do the pedaling!

Even to your old age and gray hairs
I am He; I am He who will sustain you.
I have made you and I will carry you;
I will sustain you and I will rescue you.
~Isaiah 46:5~

Isn't that a great promise. I find such peace believing it.

I'm really enjoying your photo and words matchups.
Lovely sepia tone gives a timeles quality to the picture.
Sometimes we forget that we don't have to do all the pedaling.

That's for sure, Glenda.. We do need someone else to do the pedaling for us --as we get older, or are in need of help.... Thanks be to God who helps us with the pedaling.
Hugs,
Betsy

On Sunday, a young newly elected county supervisor greeted us at lunch and asked if there was anything he could do for us. We told him what we needed, and today when we returned from errands and doctor appointment, it had been done! I told Jeep, "ask and you shall receive..." Sometimes we try to do all the 'pedaling' and God is right there waiting for us to let Him help us. Sometimes we just need to be willing to accept help.

A great image Glenda. I was thinking of a bicycle built for two but with that, we'd still have to pedal. Your picture shows that He will do all the pedaling sometimes - great comfort.

What you've said is so very true. There have been and will be many days I thought I'd never make it through, but with God's help I did. He never fails.
