Shaken but Not Moved

Storm descends.
Thunder rumbles.
Lightning explodes.
Rain floods.
Wind topples.
Shelter shakes.
Fear grips.
Faith clings.

Anchor holds!

(Note: From earlier posts you know that this big oak tree, among others, was splintered and blown down on a storage shed. The next morning it was amazing to find these two bird feeders firmly in place amidst all the storm damage.)

Hmmm...kind of like us when we're rooted in God. A really good catch to see that and snap it!

Amazing! What a wonderful post, Glenda. Your resilience is a testament to your faith. P.S. I was so close to you the other day. The road sign said YOUR TOWN 27 miles! I almost came looking for you!

Yes we need to be shaken and not moved!

I enjoyed the song on your blog, "I'll praise you in this storm." That must have been so frightening...your experience.

It is amazing that those bird houses are still on the tree.

I read today, in Matthew 6, about how God cares for the birds each day...and He reminds us that we are more valuable than the birds.

I haven't posted much, because my camera broke, then my computer broke. Hopefully I'll be posting soon.
