Buoyancy

Waves crash.
Thunder deafens.
I am no match for the fury.

But in the midst of the tumult,
I hear a Voice -
A Voice mightier than the sound of many waters.

But now this is what the Lord says -
He who created you, O Jacob,
He who formed you, O Israel:
"Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you my name.
You are mine.
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you.
When you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you."

And when the Master of the winds and waves speaks,
I can trust Him.
Always.

(Bold print from Isaiah 43:1-2)

Time and time again I've found that my strength is in the Lord. I keep relearning the lesson it seems.

Such a beautiful verse to remember. Nothing can over power us. God stands with us holding our hand and steadying us.
