Thanksgiving Roses

Praise the Lord; praise the Lord.

Let the earth hear His voice.

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord; let the people rejoice!

O come to the Father thro' Jesus the Son,

And give Him the glory -

GREAT THINGS HE HATH DONE.

~ Words to hymn written by Fanny Crosby ~

Praise the lord for great things He has done....so true.

I love this song and "Praise The Lord" is something my grandmom taught her parakeet to say from this song as she would sing to him. He knew just when to say it, He would drink some water or eat something special and then say Praise the lord.

Beautiful photography of GOD's wonderful creation.

May you have a blessed Thanksgiving.

Your roses are just beautiful. I'd not heard that song before but I do know of others by Fanny Crosby. I got a book about her once. She was an amazing person. My roses still have a few buds on the bush but I fear that after tonights low of 28 degrees they will be frozen. I've had them blooming until now. Happy Thanksgiving from my house to yours!

Beautiful Glenda! If we could only learn to Praise the Lord the way that all of nature does! The pics are wonderful - can almost smell those roses!

Amazing that the roses look so lovely in your yard this time of year. Yes..."Great Things has He Done" in our lives, in our future, and in making soft scented rose petals.
