When I think of an "empty nest" ---I don't think of birds. I think of how I felt when all three of my sons graduated and left home. THAT was an empty nest... BUT--God took care of me!!!! Thanks be to God.
Hugs,
Betsy
Love your header photo. Awesome.

Betsy, that's what I thought of, too! The two little white feathers left by the bluebirds remind me of our two sons. The tiny rays of sun streaming into the box made it almost surreal when I peeked inside!

Wonderfully done picture, though a sad image.

Beautifully done---wonderful imagery. I'm with Betsy about the empty nest part.

I will know that feeling soon. One son had already moved out. The other will be a senior in high school next year. Lovely photo, Glenda.

It was a very 'empty nest' when our son drove away for college!!

Our bluebird house is empty and cleaned out and yesterday I saw a male bluebird checking it out!!

What an arresting photo. Worthy of being framed!

I actually quite like the empty nest that most are referring to. Often times it does not feel so empty. With married kids coming over and grands coming to play ... it still fills up again and again... it's wonderful.. but it's also nice that they all go home again and it's just the two of us once more.
