A glowing, warming fire crackled and popped in the living room fireplace.
As I walked past the mirror in the dining room, its reflection caught my attention.
It was just that . . . a reflection . . . but the drawing kind that invites one
to go sit by the fire and be warmed.
Lord, make my life like that reflection . . . drawing others to sit at the feet of The One who warms our souls and sets our hearts aflame with His love.
As we gaze on Your kingly brightness,
So our faces display Your likeness.
Ever changing from glory to glory;
Mirrored here, may our lives tell your story;
Shine on me. Shine on me.

Reflecting His glory ... what a warm image you have shared with us.
That's the realest looking reflection I've seen! Good thoughts...we need to be a reflection of him!
Yes--God is the one who warms our souls and sets our hearts aflame with His love... Great reflection picture, Glenda.

Beautiful Post, Glenda! Beautiful words.
Beautiful! Carla
Love the way you related the reflected flame to us and his glory. And...one of my favorite songs, by far. I just love Graham Kendrick's music.

I love this reflection photo! Yes we need to be a reflection for Him
What a cozy thought on a very cold, very blustery night!
Glenda,
I love this posting. This is a wonderful, uplifting posting. Thanks for the encouragement.
What a wonderful picture. Our light should shine just as brightly. Today I'm washing the windows in the front room letting some light in here at my house. Hope your day is a fantastic one!
What a beautiful reminder that God wants me to be a reflection of Him. Thank you so much for letting Him use you in so many ways, Glenda. You are a beautiful reflection of Him!!
