Sprigs of Hope

Tender, green shoots push through the cold, hard sod
Where the bulbs have been buried all winter.
Spring can't be too far away!

Easter lilies . . . bursting through the clutches of winter -
Remind us of The Source of rebirth and all things new.
The Giver of hope and life is never too far away!

A tender sprig of hope pushes through the cold, barren soul
Where it's been buried beneath the rubble of a shattered life.
Wholeness and healing can't be too far away!

Oh, how I love sprigs of hope - when and wherever I see them - coming through the thawing soil or a softening heart - all initiated by HIS penetrating warmth of the sun or the Son! Lovely photo with those words of wisdom!

Oh what a beautiful thing to see, especially with 3-5 inches of snow expected here in CT tomorrow. Your post gives me resurrection hope, hope of spring, hope of healing and hope of new life. Thanks Glenda.

More snow coming here, so it may be awhile. But I so enjoy spotting those first shoots affirming once again the renewal of nature. Your words on our renewal are so apt.
Wonderful reminder to us all.

With the coming of Spring our thoughts to turn to rebirth. I often think of each new day as just that a time to begin again. Winter has tried to lessen the hope in my heart...but Spring will come again. New life is exciting!

We don't have any evidence yet, but we know that faith is the evidence of things not seen! Spring will come. We're working on Easter music in choir, so that is great.

Love the fog pictures and the analogy.

I'm so far behind and trying to catch up!
