Hang On!

Sometimes life gets a little complicated - or a lot complicated . . .
and requires us to sacrifice ease and comfort.
Some solutions demand that we think outside the box . . .
and forget how everybody else is doing it.
But if we keep our eyes on The Prize . . .
no matter how far we must strain our necks -
we'll be rewarded.

Persevere . . . hang on!

(I took this pic of the beautiful red-headed woodpecker through my window looking at the feeder that hangs a few feet away on the front porch.)

Hi Glenda, I love Red-heads... Haven't seen ours since we got home from our trip--but I'm sure they will return...

My post on Perseverance has gotten lots of 'hits' in blogland... Think that is something we all need to do a better job with....
Hugs,
Betsy

Birds assume the strangest positions ... and you remind us of such important truths.

Wonderful picture of someone successfully hanging on despite topsy-turvy circumstances! What a fantastic photo!

Wow! I figured it was a red headed before I read that it was. We must keep our eyes on Jesus and not others, or measure ourselves by others.

You always match practical God-given advice with just the right photo.
What you have written in so true.
I'm hanging on right now. It's not a white-knuckle hold, but a hold to a promise that God is slowly fulfilling. And no it's not going to be the conventional way.
Already I can see my brothers' heads shaking. But I've told them not to bother me with their negativity. Hopefully my present post will a reinforcement.
Love the photo! Birds are so much fun to watch and we can learn a lot from them.

Your photos and your words are always such a perfect match. Which do you do first, the photo, then the words, or vice versa? You have a special talent. I'll bet you were an awesome teacher.

You get the best wildlife pictures! Awesome shot and great words of wisdom. I like it much better than that poster of the cat hanging on.
