Detours

Detours . . . we don't like them!

Not when we're traveling the highways and interstates . . . and not in our life journeys. But friend Roz reminds us of the road God's children are traveling: It's the Highway of Holiness; the road is marked for us!

We can be sure as His obedient children that every detour takes us closer to the SON - even when it doesn't look that way through our earthly eyes!

When God has another plan - walk on and just say yes.
When God has another plan - be assured that He knows best.

I am stunned and amazed at this photo!! Not only the beautiful sunset, but then the turn arrow and direction on the road, illustrating your point perfectly!! I think God must be reading your blog!

Glenda, your words are so true. And sometimes, we really get into trouble and ignore the detour and plow ahead...speaking from experience, of course.

Life is full of detours pot holes and his and valley and just try to hang on and enjoy the ride. What a blessing each day is. Thank the good Lord today is another one of those.

Thank you Glenda for stopping by and your prayers as well. Looks like we have a lot in common, the lord and photography. Amazing sunset photo and the arrow depicting life's curves.

Its true, we do not like life's detours, we like straight paths where we can see what is ahead. I know the lord is driving so I cant go wrong when the road get bumpy and we can see around the bend.

GOD bless and keep you all safe.
