Rest . . .

Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Rest is what we all need more of, isn't it??? Even as retirees, we never seem to get finished doing what we want to do!!!!!! BUT--with all of the rain we are having now (love it and need it) ---that makes for a very peaceful, restful day. Thanks be to God.
Hugs,
Betsy

What a neat picture of an invitation to rest.

Great match to that verse. It looks as though that chair might need some rest as well. The two 'weary' resting together, I like that.

I really like that Glenda. Even though I no longer work, I need for my mind to rest. We actually just came back in from rocking on the porch together. So thankful for the cooler weather and a chance to "rest" with George. God is so good.

A rocking chair is a wonderful place to rest!!! We all need a good rest now and then.

Yes .... I'll take it.

Delighted to meet you today. I hope you don't mind if I splash around a bit to get to know you. This looks like a refreshing place to dip into some serious goodness.

Splashin',
Sarah

Sometimes I recite that verse to help me fall asleep, when I wake up in the night. It helps to transfer the load to God's shoulders.

And this needs to be done over and over again.
