Rust Prevention

Someone has said, "Anxiety is the rust of life,

destroying its brightness and weakening its power."

A wise man said, "An anxious heart weighs a man down."

(Proverbs 12:25)

Jesus said, "Do not worry about your life . . .

Do not worry about tomorrow. . . "

(Matt. 6: 25,34)

Over and over God, our Father, says, "Fear not."

I say, "Why do I forget so quickly?

Thank you, Lord, for reminding me.

I don't want to get rusty, dull, weighed down and powerless.

I trust You."

So many times we are told not to be afraid and not to worry. He must have known how much encouragement we would need to overcome our fears.

My body lets me know when I'm anxious before my brain has even registered it and owned up to it!! So glad that Jesus speaks understanding and words of comfort and encouragement to each situation!

We do worry too much, don't we????? And we have too much fear about things in life... We need to let that go and keep the FAITH and TRUST in God.

Hugs,
Betsy

This is a good description of anxiety! But then the devil comes to steal kill and destroy our joy. I love your playlist!

it's so true about worry and fear. It always makes me crazy and sometimes even sick. But when I let go....and trust....the relief is the absolute best. Wishing you a fabulous weekend.
