Splashes of Cheer

Yellow has always been a cheerful color to me.  I love its sunshiny presence inside my house and in blooms outside. These splashes of  cheer popped up throughout the day yesterday.

Today, Grandson Aiden is back at his house, and I may not walk the trail to enjoy the yellow blooms. Those spots of cheer are not permanent; they are here today and gone tomorrow.  But I know One who is always present, always in season, always ready to speak words of cheer. Listen:

In the world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer;
I have overcome the world.
 John 16:33

Son, [daughter], be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.
Matthew 9:2

Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
Mark 6:50

Yellow is one of my favorite colors. It always make me smile. I think those words, "Be of good cheer" will be singing in my head all weekend.

Such nice pictures. I think I saw a couple little blossoms on our forsythia the other day too.

Hi Glenda, Yes---YELLOW will definitely bring cheer to us, especially in spring. Yellow has always been my favorite color. Even when there is no yellow present, God can be our cheerful YELLOW... Yeah!!!

Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy

I'm here today, enjoying your beautiful pictures and words.

Love the trail through the trees--with the runner. (I like to run on trails through trees.)

May God bless you today (as He does every day)

I think that yellow is such a cheerful one. My very first kitchen was done in yellow and I loved it.

I have to laugh as I work with Pre-K 3 children in a private school. A few of them have trouble saying "yellow" and say "lellow". We are working on that.

Blessings and love,
Debbie
