The Peace Speaker

Fearing for their lives
and full of uncertainty,
they gathered to wait
behind locked doors.

Suddenly He appeared -
though the door remained locked -
speaking words they needed,
"Peace be unto you."

He still comes
through locked doors
to fearful hearts
who need His peace.

(Based on John 20:19-31)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Peace! Peace! Wonderful peace,
Coming down from the Father above!
Sweep over my spirit forever, I pray,
In fathomless billows of love.
~Lyrics - Wonderful Peace (19th century)~
Like Ginny, I wondered what this was going to be. Such a powerful post! Wow. Like Ginny, you have a gift for matching every day life in photos with beautiful scriptures to make a profound impact on others. Such a blessing. Am so happy you like my zoo photos. The first segment photos really came out well. Blessings.
Very good!! Do you ever put yourself in that room and wonder what your reaction would have been after all the events of the preceding days? Thank you God for the resurrected Christ.
I love this message of peace. Reminding me that God wants to give me peace.
I am in a very hard situation with my son, needing direction. It's hard to be at peace when trouble is looming, and I can't see which way to turn.
I love the picture of the leaves at the top of your blog. Did you take that? You have great skill.
