Take the Plunge!

If you listen to southern gospel music, you've probably heard this song:
Step into the water;
wade out a little bit deeper.
Wet your feet in the water of His love.

Step into the water (children);

wade out a little bit deeper.

Come join angels singing
praises to the Lamb of God.

I like that word picture . . . wading out into His boundless love!

I don't know about you, but sometimes I just need a good soaking!

Wading just won't do!

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us . . .
I John 3:1

What a wonderful series of pictures. And you caught not just any old bird bathing, it looks like a baby bluebird! So you really have found the bluebird of happiness! His love is truly great to give us beautiful things like this to enjoy, if only we will look around!

Oh Glenda, What a cute post. That Bluebird was really enjoying the bath... I love it!!! You got some great pictures....

God does want to wade a little deeper ---and as I say alot, "Step out of our box" (our comfort zone).

Hugs,
Betsy

I wish my 89-year-old mom could see these pictures! She loves blue birds and has a bunch of blue bird houses. We are not lucky enough to have blue birds in this part of Arizona. These are just precious pictures.

You are an amazing photographer and writer And the putting together of your pix with songs is brilliant. That's another one of my faves that we have sung in choir.

What a delight to see the bird at play in the water. He really is enjoying it. I often think that is the way we should be too. Delighting in what the good Lord has given us. What a beautiful post

I want to enjoy God like that bird enjoys the water.

I so often forget that God wants us to be joyful--to delight in his love.

I like the way you put it....wading deeper.
