Beauty in the Dust

An eighteen-wheeler lumbered noisily down the country dirt road,
And clouds of thick dust swirled in the late evening air.
But through the haze the sun's rays shone,
Creating beautiful effects through the trees.

Life is like that sometimes -
Dust-filled, hazy, stifling, in need of refreshing showers.
Then the Son shines through it all -
His Light creating beauty where there was none.

Oh my, what an exquisite shot!!! And you were in a moving car at the time, amazing! A great analogy. God's light can take even the worst things and make them beautiful.

Thank you, Ginny! I always appreciate your comments!

No, I wasn't driving; I was on a walk down the dirt road beside our house. The big truck was going to pick up chickens from the broiler house down the road. I took the pic after the truck passed.

Great picture... One would never know that was DIRT.... Love your scripture and words to go with the picture... We do have alot of dirt in our lives... We need to see through the dirt and keep God in the center of our lives...

Have a nice day.
Hugs,
Betsy
