His Smiling Face

I'm not a "morning person"!

I'm not at my best in the early morning hours - and I was never more aware of that than this morning! But I'm glad our Heavenly Father - the Creator of mornings and sunrises - never finds it difficult "to get going"! As I drove home from my FIL's house this morning, He showed up as always.

In the sunrise that peeked through the clouds . . .

In the yellow cheer that sways in the gentle breeze . . .

And in a four-word message via Facebook!

When Jesus shows His smiling face,
There is sunshine in my soul.
~Sunshine in My Soul
lyrics by Eliza E. Hewitt~

I'm not a morning person either, but God surely does show the beauty of His creation during those hours!

What georgous, golden pictures! I am not a morning person at all, so I never get to see this. That's why I only post sunSETS! Too bad some people don't notice so much beauty all around, I love those lyrics!

He is everywhere IF we only take time to look!

I really, really wish I was a morning person, but I'm a night owl instead. The field full of yellow flowers (Swamp Sunflowers?) is amazing!

We just need to be still long enough to view His creations to know He's there....even in the mornings!

I'm in the minority I guess. I am definitely a morning person. Rarely sleep past 3 a.m. These are beautiful shots.
P.S. I had to look up a texting abbreviation website to find out what an FIL is!

I am a morning person - what beautiful things you saw because you were up so early!

I don't know which I like best--the clouds or the flowers. Isn't it awesome how God "shows off" in the sky. His creation is absolutely amazing.

I wondered if you couldn't decide which flower picture was best, so you posted them both. It's good to see 2 perspectives. I like the warm autumn colors. --beautiful scenes.
