The Scattering

Sooner or later what's inside will come out,
And others will see the real me -
Uncovered, no mask, just the stuff I'm made of.
My attitudes, my words, my actions -
Like seeds, will scatter into my world
And produce more of the same.

Beautiful photos, Glenda, to make your point about 'scattering'.... We have scattered our lives all over the place --through the years, haven't we? I just hope that I have 'scattered' God's love along the way!!!!

Great post...
Hugs,
Betsy

Wonderful pictures of the opening seed pods and they are perfectly paired with the message!! Love the 'Come to Jesus' song, too.

Oh, wow! This looks like it has just exploded! Your photography is stunning! I don't know how you find these things. Your header is georgous, the berries are a heart!! Yes, we are the only sermon some people will hear, and we need to be aware of our actions.

Great photo. I clicked for an enlargement...so beautiful.

"what's inside will come out"....oh, how I hate it when "what comes out" in my own life is not lovely. Then I cling more closely to our Lord.

What we sow, is what we reap. I love the thoughts and the pictures today.

Yes, it was such fun as I got closer and realized it was one of "ours." What a special treat. I knocked on the door of the large white house next door and asked the woman who answered if she was connected to the church - of course, she was the pastor's wife. I think she thought I was a little nuts, but I explained that the p.k. in me just makes me do stuff like that.

Really enjoyed the photos and the message! Fall is a time of scattering even though we may see it more a time of harvesting. Those photos are stunning!
