Some old things are worth saving while others end up in the trash.
Not so with people . . . people made in His image . . .
people loved unconditionally by their Creator.
Jesus came to
restore
remold
remake
reclaim
redeem
and
He never throws out anyone.
He thinks we're ALL to die for!
Of course, He is a gentleman, and He will not force any of us to be redeemed.
It's a choice each of us must make.
But He stands with outstretched, nail-scared hands saying, "Come."
~~~~~~~~~~~
Jesus to Calv'ry did go,
His love for mankind to show.
What He did there brought hope from despair.
Oh, how He loves you; Oh, how He loves me,
Oh how He loves you and me.
Blessed Assurance. A beautiful post, Glenda. I hope you will have a nice weekend coming up.
Wonderful post - I'm so glad God doesn't throw us out!
It's so reassuring to know that He considers us ALL worth saving.
Just love - 'He thinks we're ALL to die for' and HE did! Singing the song.....
Wonderful post!! And a beautiful delicate rose on your header...
Glenda, sometimes I feel like that old bicycle seat but I'm so grateful for Jesus and that he makes me like a brand new racing seat in the eyes of the Father! This is a wonderful post and so....... true!
Such wonderful love from our Savior.
I am so thankful that He did not throw me out. Thank you Glenda for yet another wonderful encouragement. Blessings.
Yes, thanks be to God that he accepts us as we are... He is there for us --and it's our choice to make...
Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy
We're all to die for....just love how you put things and when I'm mad at someone...I really need to remember this
What a neat old seat. Was it for a tractor? You share some great messages with us through your photos and words.
Susan, it is an old tractor seat...abandoned on the porch of an empty house near my home.
That he would do this for me...kind of hard to wrap your mind around...but he did! Beautiful photos and blog
I heard someone say once that God deals with second hand goods. I'm glad He does -- because I was pretty rusty and God lovingly restored me! So enjoyed your thoughts.
I am so grateful He doesn't get rid of those of us who are a bit shabby :). All things new...So grateful. :)
nice post looking for to visit more thanks for sharing blessings...
Hi Glenda, Thank you for visiting my blog and such a lovely compliment. I like this post, it resonates with me in retirement especially when the world seems to be full of youth! On the days I could throw me out, so glad He does not see me that way. Blessings
