In Praise of a Safe Passage

I've been carrying you on my back
from the day you were born,
and I'll keep on carrying you
when you're old.

I'll be there,
bearing you when you're old and gray.
I've done it and will keep on doing it,
carrying you on my back, saving you.

~ from Isaiah 46:4 (The Message)~

I have never read that translation, it is pretty. I am also loving the words on your picture!! I love the place you put them. Did you write that part?

I love The Message - and that passage. And the way you did the picture - you are so clever.

Have a blessed week!

I thank my God every day that he carries me. Thank you so much for your prayers. It means a lot to know that others are lifting me up. I really enjoy our blog friendship. Carla

Great passage. I love the truth that it's not in my power. Ever.

And that is a great picture, despite the fact that I find bridges to be scary places. I close my eyes and pray. Unless I'm driving of course. Then I keep my eyes open and pray, and drive very, very slowly :)
