Oh, wow!! These look like bumble bees, but I believe thay are really carpenter bees, I did a post on them and people have a hard time telling the difference. I love the way you show off the black wings! You got really close!

I just read your two previous posts (bit behind this week thanks to deadlines at school). Both the memories one and the one about the worn cowboy hat really touched me.
I thought the question you mentioned was quite good. I thought about some of my best memories and I do believe they've changed me for the good.
I'm a big one for being open about my age--I'm thankful that I'm still here to get a few more wrinkles and worn places just like that hat.
