Celebrating at Fort Humbug . . .

A beautiful, joyful sight . . . yellow ribbons welcoming troops home! Home for Christmas!! I have an idea that this was not a "bah, humbug" kind of place this Christmas season! No Ebenezer Scrooges at Fort Humbug!

Please join me in remembering and praying for the many men and women who will be away from their families this Christmas. God bless them everyone!

Joining with you in prayer for so many who are making sacrifices for us and our country.

Ditto to Mildred's comment. We can only imagine the sacrifices, fears, discomfort and pain these people go through so that we can remain FREE! I have family members who have been over there for the second and third tour of duty in the present conflict, not to mention the previous wars.

The last picture is beautiful! Do you think this is where the Scrooge family lives? Your Casting Crowns song has been running over and over in my head for days now! A Christmas obsession?

I do join you Glenda. I can't even imagine how difficult it is for the families. My heart goes out to those away and those home who long for them. May they all be safe and find Christmas peace in their hearts.
